okeydokey. finally. TAIWAN TRIP!!
14.04.07. off to the airport ((:
landed @ taiwan @ ard 7 at night. took their coaches to taipei city. long ride man. 45 mins. close to an hour. but one you reach taipei, there are alot to see. we saw mvp's valentine's gao xing (very cute!) at the airport and some boyband guy at shih lin. how lucky right? anyway, got off at our drop off point but somehow we got lost. roar. spent like 30 mins to an hour looking for the hotel, pulling our luguages ard. can you imagine that. first in my lifetime. lol. was really hungry and i nearly bought a taiwan sausage from this old uncle on the way. so badly wanted too :(( finally we gave up, called the hotel and they came to pick us up. hmm. enough of hotel, dont really wanna talk about it. nice ppl, good service tho.
Basically, the service in taiwan is good. nice ppl everywhere with the exception of some. there are actually people who bump into you but don't say sorry. got quite a few of that experiences actually. and we realized that the people there aren't that street wise eh. they either gave you the wrong directions and make you waste 1/2 hr going the wrong direction, if not, they'll say "don't know". weird isn't it. girls there are really sweet. their lift ladies, sales assistants, shops keepers blah..all very sweet. not on purpose kind but by nature...i nearly melted a few times. and i'm a girl la!
i love their bubble tea there. big cups, plus chewy pearls. cheap. the whole sign board was filled with olden chinese words and all i knew was red tea, green tea and milk tea in chinese. the rest were in olden chinese. and we got laughed at the first time we ordered. for our mandarin. so kuku nathans right. hur hur.
first night just basically checked in, then headed to ding tai feng for xiao long baos and then to RAOHE night market for shopping. ding tai feng comapred to singapore's not much difference. just the service. of cos, their service is way better than ours. usually ppl rem taiwan for shih lin and xi men ding but raohe's not bad too. we went the whole night there till 2am and we only managed to finish one side of the night market. went back the next night to continue tho'. even tho the things aren't up to my expectation, in terms of price and style, but i still think that taiwan's nice..everywhere has posters of my favourite idols man. their 7-11 and convenience stores are way cooler. if only singapore's 7-11 sells Le tea... okay. let the pictures do the talking.
TAIPEI, Here i come!
