Back for now..It has been a really busy start of the year for me. CNY, weddings, school.Oh yes, my timetable is finally settled! yes, i know. 3 weeks into the start of the new semester already! in fact, this is the 4th. and i have tons of work piling up with many assignments due the next 2 weeks...enough to make me breathless! hur. but Thank God for the modules this semester. even though, i'm kinda bankrupt in my points account now but i know He'll provide for the next sem yah ((:Here are my modules..NM3204 E-learning...that is electronic learning i supposed. pretty chim for me, i mus'say. but I've been trying to keep up with my readings because...I have to update a blog as a component for assessment. haha! behavioristic learning. I know i'm pretty long winded when it comes to writing/typing.. okay. maybe even talking. so my entries for my recent assignment was kind of lengthy. BUT insightful kay! take a look @ my learning blog!NM2201 Intercultural CommunicationThis is probably the most interesting and understandable module for the entire semester. It took me great pains to persuade the dept to let me take this module alright! and I'm so glad, he gave it to me! It's more about communicating in different cultural context. For example, you can't communicate the same way to the Americans as you did with Chinese. We have already been assigned out project task and country, and my group was allocated Thailand! Sawadee kap! Pretty excited actually, even though i was hoping that we could get Korea. But nevertheless ((:TR3001 New Product DevelopmentAnother task oriented module. pretty demanding i must say. A level 3000 biz module. we are really brave huh! All about innovation, patents blah blah. designing products or services and filing for a patent. in fact, we just designed our cup-holder! my idea is pretty blah! haha. My project mates are really nice people though...and it's non-examinable! yay!ES2002 Biz CommunicationSecond biz module. More on hands on actually...presentation, speaking up etc etc. Just had my mini-lecture presentation today. yes, conducting a lecture for the class. Thank God the class is pretty small.. class of 15! haha. i'm not much of a presenter actually. But I believe I'll learn alot from this module..something I can take to the working world. presentation skills..EL1101EHmm, probably the worst module so far. I am absolutely clueless till now. Already into the 4th week of the semester, the lecturer herself is.. no comments. really. I just hope my tutor's better.Yup. I'm having a 4 day week now, pretty spread out actually except mondays 2-9. 9pm! hur. but thursdays are my free day. I must get a better timetable next sem! but for now, i shall just be content with what i have ((:CNY was kinda quiet this year but nonetheless, I had a blast still. Moving from one house to another, eating from one house to another. we became gluttons! haha. most of the time, my parents will spend the time talking to the other adults.."Reminiscing the good old days". haha. reminiscing what they reminisced every year. LOL! and my job was to be a babysitter. taking care of the kids, playing with them till i pant like crazy. Their "lao ying zhua xiao ji" is no mean feat kay. little monsters! hur. so you can imagine me, my brother, my sister, brother-in-law and the kids sitting there, just eating and eating. oh yes, i remembered, every household i went that day was playing the SAME variety show...which was not nice at all! my collection of red-packets seems to be better this year despite the recession..isn't it weird. looking at the way things are now, recession is more of a word than a situation to singaporeans. sales everywhere, people still spending big bucks. but i think we should still save in preparation for bad times. because, i'm still going ahead with my holiday plans to korea and bangkok! haha. so it's time..to save!some pictures.

The wedding of the month. 31.01.09.
It was on a saturday morning, the weather was good, bright and sunny. the solemization took place at church but it was a military wedding. pretty awesome actually, with the sword-bearers in their number one. it was really heartwarming to see someone i've known for so long, walking down the aisle with his fiancée. but it's also weird at the same time. or should i say surreal. it seems like yesterday when we became friends, still childish, talking about bgr..and now he's walking down the aisle!
i would definitely wanna have a traditional church wedding..at a church with a long aisle, my dad giving me away. i mean a military wedding or a garden wedding or a beach wedding is nice but still...i'm very traditional you know. haha. okay. i'm drifting away again. haha.
still...I congratulate the couple and I wish the a lifetime of bliss, happiness and everlasting ♥ ((:
